"Racing with the Wind"

In the end, the paper cranes could not save Sadako's life.  How did the paper cranes help her?

  1. The paper cranes may have not saved her life, but they helped her believe that she could survive and they helped her have hope.

  2. I think the paper cranes helped Sadako by making her brave and hold on to life longer. In the text it says that the paper cranes made Sadako feel stronger.

  3. The paper cranes helped her because it made her stronger.On page 63, it says “Life was slipping away from her, but the crane made Sadako feel stronger.”

  4. The crane's help her because she never gave up and she had confidence
    that she would not die. She thought the golden crane was luck.
